It’s official, Asia has moved into teenager time. She had me fooled for a couple months, thinking maybe she would be an active, energetic, curious bengal, but NOT a mischievous one. Ha, I was lulled into a false sense of security I see. Over the last week, instead of immediately stopping whatever she might be doing when I say “no”, it has progressed into “let me see how fast I can do it until mom gets 2 feet away and then I will zoom away like a rocket”. Grumble….
The counter which was really only tested when she was super excited about breakfast on occasion, has now become great fun and I think it is mostly just to antagonize mum. She will zoom off when I come in the kitchen, but as soon as I turn my back she zooms back in and on the counter. The last thing I want is for this to become a game, I try and reinforce positive behavior as much as possible, I am also a believer in consistency when it comes to what is wrong. Sigh. I trained the rest of the cats to sit on chairs in the kitchen while I cook, guess its time to redirect Miss Asia.

Another of her newest obsessions, getting behind the photos on the shelves around the TV. Notice the nice handy custom built cat tree to the left, where she is supposed to be playing!
Guess I was surprised since Bayou never showed an interest in those shelves…….sigh.

Although I do not think these will do much good with you….
